Other fashion shows cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars to participate in. We keep our costs low because we think everyone should be able to become a successful designer as  long as they have the talent and ambition! Winning our show opens doors for many designers, as our prize package includes a free audition to FashioNxt, Portland's largest fashion event. There they get training and exposure to jump-start their career!

O'Field Apparel used their experience on our runway in 2018 to win Best Emerging Designer at FashioNxt this fall, make this the third year a row a Modify Style designer has gained that distinction. O'Field's combination of masculine, bold plaids and Pendleton prints with airy lace and tulle garnered many accolades. Her line is carried at Anne Bocci in the Pearl, and we can't wait to see what their future holds!

Nicole Bridal Couture won our Professional Collection Category in 2018. Riding that wave of motivation, she showed at FashioNxt and is working on expanding her brand and will soon be collaborating with Modify Style to expand her business!

Shamanic Chic won the Professional Collection Category in 2018 and followed up by showing at FashioNxt, which she won an audition for as part of her prize package. Shamanic Chic draws on an extensive visual library of plants, animals, deities and gemstones medicines for the intention of metaphysical healing purposes.

Minnie Opal followed up their win in our 2017 show with being the best of the Emerging Designer category at FashioNxt that year! They showed again at FashioNxt this year, and their designs, many made from salvaged materials, can be found online, at Anne Bocci in the Pearl, and at Artisan Avenue Marketplace in Portland.

Vivid Element won the Professional Category in our 2017 show and has a successful slow, ethical fashion business! Creator Amy uses low impact dyes and carefully watches her textile waste, finding creative uses for her scraps. Her designs can be found at stores in Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco.
